After over 25 years of marriage and raising children, we decided to pursue our “empty nest” in Chicago, starting from a clean slate. Having seen Zach’s work, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to retain him to create a peaceful yet dramatic environment for our small luxury apartment overlooking both Lake Michigan and the northern city skyline. We’ve often had problems in the past finding agreement when it came to our home decorating ideas — but Zach was able to listen to both of our needs and find just the right solutions to make us both happy. Zach Hayes is one of the most professional, thoughtful, considerate and dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He has a great eye for design and gets to know his clients, their likes/interests and aversions and is a true collaborator throughout the entire process.
